Farrier Cody Curell grew up on a quarter horse ranch in northern Minnesota where he learned his way around horses and their movement. Mr. Curell has been groomed since he was a young boy by his father, a master farrier since 1982 in hopes that one day his son would learn to appreciate the dying art of hoof care. Cody was brought up on the premise that a horse with no foundation isn’t going to be worth much under saddle. This has lead Cody to work his hoof care on the premise of “Functional Approaches to Building a Foundation from the Ground Up.”
Cody enjoys working on performance horses and competing in like events. He has been involved with FFA, 4-H, Little Britches Rodeo, High School Rodeo, MRA team roping and catching a trail ride from time to time.
